Emergencies happen. Depending on where you’re based in our province, there are several dangers you could be exposed to at any time. This is why it’s so important to be prepared.

This week marks Emergency Preparedness Week across Canada. This annual event presents an opportunity to encourage Canadians to take tangible action to better prepare themselves, their workplace, and their families during an emergency.

According to a survey conducted by Ipsos, 46 per cent of British Columbians haven’t yet made an emergency preparedness plan. Creating one isn’t a massive task, especially when you’ve got resources to assist. Below, we’ve gathered our emergency preparedness resources in one handy place:
